The roomy HAVA has comfortable handles, zip closure and inside compartment; use for shopping, work, gym, beach, college, travel or as stylish baby changing bag!
The hard-wearing heavy cotton fabric used in our bags is handwoven on wooden looms in Bhaktapur by a small weaving collective that employs local women who work flexible hours around their family commitments. Multiple thread colours and a loose weave technique is used for our multi-tonal scarves.
Our faux leather is a synthetic material bought locally in Kathmandu from a materials distributor, which we have used for some of our bag styles as a vegan alternative to leather.
Handmade by a small Nepalese workshop affiliated with the Nepal Leprosy Trust, who employ marginalised people, giving them opportunities through work. We have worked with the team for over ten years developing new products, improving skills and providing equipment for the workshop. As a World Fair Trade Organisation certified member, the workshop give their employees a fair living wage, health care benefits and monthly contributions to their children's school fees.
